The BC-314 is a VLF variant of the BC-224 receiver, it covers the long- und mediumwave range from 150 - 1500 kHz in four bands.

Development

In 1936, the Radio Corporation of America (RCA) developed the BC-224, an aircraft receiver that covered the shortwave range in six bands and was powered by the on-board voltage of 14V.

In 1939, a set covering four VLF / medium wave bands was released.
